Default Rear gearbox Brace

I have put a brace on my rb5 across the two screws that hold it to the bulkhead. The brace is from a yoke BD tourer, it's the rear susp' mount shims for the split mounts at the rear. Maybe you could use an alloy servo mount spacer instead. BTW doin' this mod allows you to crank down on those screws and not split the gearbox HTH

I havent tried it yet, but it looks like the old xxcr/xxtcr aluminum tranny brace might fit there as well. I will have to dig through the old parts bin and try it.
