Default Front wheels for 201

Anyone know any shops in the UK that have stocks of the TRF201 front wheels?

I just got my 201 today and I noticed that the kit front wheels are wider than normal, I have a set of slim mini pins and a set of staggered ribs, and they are both too narrow to fit the full wheel. I have the inside edge of the rim showing, otherwise the tyres are too stretched. Is this normal? they look more like 4WD front wheels.

Do any other 2WD wheels fit the 201 ?

As far as I am aware, no. You can buy a axle coversion to allow you to run associated or losi wheels. I think it's the bearing size thats the problem.

You can just cut that inner rim off, this is common practise and i had to do it on all my 201 front wheels as i prefer slim tyres.

You can also fit B4 front wheels but you will need to purchase the tamiya 201 imperial axle set Part No #54220

1: Imperial axle conversion if you want to run B4 wheels

2: they are wide 2wd fronts, you can cut them down to narrows.

3: Staggers work best on narrow fronts

4: slim minispikes can be mounted on narrow or wide 2wd fronts
