Default B4.1 kit

Ive had a b4.1 kit for a few weeks now and it really works well my lap times have got a little better and I,ve beaten racers I normally dont win. but can someone give me info or a link that expalins fully what gearing and pinion and spur gearing works best for different track, conditions ETC> I've got a 6.5 losi with a83 spur and a 22 pinion but and I as I undersatnd it you can only go one tooth either way so 22 to 24 pinion I think, well it works ok 22-83 not sure what teeth are on the inner gearing but its what you get in the kit. As I say it works for me how it is just might want to get more speed or make it faster at pulling away.
Thanks
philb
p:s what would happen if I fitted the spur with 79 or 73 with a 22 pinion
