Ash - is your indoor setup a worksop setup?

worksop is not normal 'indoors'

I would certainly be looking for silver or even softer front springs at worksop, especially early on, there is not much grip

Ash.. tip for you, if you're going to the Worksop meetings make sure you've got a coat for when you get there (it's cold) , and also make sure you pit directly under one of the roof heaters (cuz they're bloody warm)

Track used to get well rapido when the heaters came on.

What Chris means is the surface isn't the normal shiny floor / carpet mix.. It's a specific flooring designed the indoor athletics, which is low grip until the dust is cleared from the line. The track will probably still have the same indoor "gym mat" style jumps. Just don't go hopeing for ball's out high grip indoor racing, it's more throttle control drift styleee to start until the grip comes up..

I'd probably recommend racing 4WD on your first visit, as the grip levels will be easier to get used to..

Yeah sounds the same sort of surface. It's a rubbery/cork type material that allows athletic running spikes to be used for sprinting.

As for waiting until close to the events, just keep in mind the entry has a strict closing date of 1 week before the event, and that the entries need to be sent via post. So "be prepared" as the scouts say.

this is my point exactly, you have never been to worksop, you don't know what the track is like but you are posting a setup for someone who wants a setup to use at this track.
