Default 10.5 brushless/19 turn

Hi all,

Is there a list anywhere of 10.5 brushless motors that are acceptable to race in 19 turn classes? I can only find one brushless list of the BRCA?

Only the ones on the BRCA homologation list are allowed.

As far as im aware as long as the make of motor is on the list it is legal aslong as it hasnt been change so for example i would think that the orion ones would be legal as on the list i dont think it says anything about persific winds so ther is no rule saying you cant run a 3.5 etc. Best bet is to e-mail tech officer or paul worsley.

hi dave, as far as i know they are not legal yet at brca events.although a few t/c winter series are allowing them to run along side 19tmotors.our local club(stafford),allow you to run them ,and the 13.5's against 27t motors. there are a few racers now using the 10.5's on a weekly basis at club level. ask your local club if its ok to run, should be no prob really.

Thanks Clunk, I am actuallyasking around the capret masters this year at Stafford, I want to run brushless if possible!

Do you know if they'll allow Orion/Novak/LRP 10.5?

you are allowed to run the brushless equivalents at this years carpet masters against the respective 19/27 t motors,i think the latest entry forms have the updated details on them,or e-mail via the stafford club website for confirmation. i think all manufacturers are allowed, but you will need to check this with mr.Robson himself. i know the lads that run them now are all using the novak motors with a mixture of different speedo's,novak/nosram mainly.
they are proving great indoors and a little quicker than brushed on all but the tightest of tracks.

Cool, Novaks are sensored aren't they? Presume they will work with my LRP speedo!
