Simple solution is to take the fan off. I ran my B4 + Novak GTB without the fan. If you are running a sensible motor, e.g. no hotter than a 5.5 you should be okay running 8 minutes fanless even in high ambient temperatures.

If the body is not cut out yet you can cut it a bit below the bottom line (raises the body). If it's cut out but not painted you can use a spoon and a hot air gun to "bulge" the body a bit to clear the speedo. It's not too difficult but you have to get it right first time. I've actually done it before sticking the speedo in place and placing something flat over the top you can then heat it up and push the body over till it fits making a perfect shape for the speedo

I have seen the fan placed on its edge next to the speedo, bit of velcro twix fan & car, must be pictures on here somewhere but cannot find em, everyone scratched on this when brushless first came out.

This is the way I did it - works just fine but double sided tape not velcro

When I ran a B4 I used the J concepts body. This has more room than the standard one, so I could just get the GTB complete with fan under it.

As said, on option if you don't want to purchase a new shell is to just mount the fan alongside.

If you are looking for a body that fits with the fan on top of the ESC, you can use the Associated B4.1 body, AS9792.

The ideal shell is the ProLine Vortex (Vortex = fan... designed to fit over fans!) but I believe that shell has now been discontinued, you may still be able to find one about though, they're providing them with the B4.1FT kit.
