Default online shop-advice request

I know it is a bit tricky to ask such things on a (this) forum ... but I need some Kyosho-parts and my local shop is very slow in delivering.

As an example: I ordered some parts for my RB5 in june 2009: shocktowers, ball-ends, springs ...
.. and only received the list items of my order last week!

I broke some stuff and need to replace parts for the next offroad-race within a few weeks.

Can someone point me out to some online shops that have a fast delivery and are not exuberant on prices?
THX!

If I may add: I live in Belgium. Could be important, I guess.

You won't find better service than MicroTech ... sure they export at reasonable shipping rates too.

I've ordered from Wartelle a couple of times .. but NO MORE

Indeed, their site lists everything being in stock ... but the site is nowhere up to date.
I did an (urgent) order in the beginning of july ... and received within the week ... a small envelope with 2 parts of my order + a note that the rest will follow.
Only to find two weeks later a bigger envelope with other parts ... but some parts (important ones) were still missing.

Again a note that the rest of the parts will come later ...
We are now august, 30th, still not received the final parts, nor any email or phone call or ... explaining what is happening and I find that not correct.
My money, they had it immediatly .. the parts? God knows (sorry God )
I wanted to contact them but for a large part of august they were on holliday and the shop was closed.
That offcourse explains a delay ...
but not of two f*ckin months

when i cant get the stuff i need from my lhs i use amain, speedtech or rc-champ..

but.. the best thing really is to buy more from the local dealer, that way they can stock more stuff and more of the right stuff you need

about local dealer: mmm, don't think so.

My local dealer allready has a very large variety of brands in stock and with the present difficult times they try to minimise stock.
So whenever I want to buy from them, it has to be ordered ... and then it arrives when it arrives, meaning it all depends on the fact if the main Kyosho-dealer for Europe/Belgium has it in its stock.
So in reality: waiting yet again and not knowing when it will arrive.

(I once had to wait 2 months for some kyosho-parts from them)

Hi Lowie,

Its real tough at present, Microtech did a great job especially having such a good online shop.

We are trying to get more stockists but times are tough in our hobby.
You can try DMS,JE Spares and PBM. PBM dont have a website but they do mail order and keep very good stock levels.

i tried the microtech-site ... but they seem offline.
Are they out of bussiness?
if so, that would be a shame. Indeed they delivered excellent service

Microtech is no longer in business I am afraid,

Yes PBM are a great shop, give Andy a call and they can help out with your spares!

hi Joey

thx for the offer but I might need these parts sooner. I often go training in our indoor-facility in Charleroi.
I'm going to contact Wartelle and see if they have any news about my parts.
If not, i'm gonna ask my money back and then maybe order the parts somewhere else.

if there might be a problem and I need some parts in a hurry, I will certainly contact you, Joey.

till soon.

Well, (Sébastien) Wartelle definitely is a "no-more" for me!!
I had some unpleasant email-communication with him
Communication is not his point-fort and neither is friendly-customer-service IMHO.

JE Spares seem to be the best on-line shop carrying good levels of Kyosho at the moment although I don't think all the Kyosho stuff is on the site yet.

If you e-mail them you should get a mail back fairly quickly, customer service is one of their best features
