IVe had my lipo's for about 6 months or so.
I only have one pack and ive been racing once or twice a week so they have done around 150-200 cycles (26 weeks, 1.5 meetings per week, 5 races per meeting) so they have had a fair amount of use. After a race the voltage seems to be lower than when I first got them and the car seems to have less punch than previously. Is there any way to test the cells to see if they have deteriorated? They still charge ok and there is no sign of puffing or other problems. for ebay cheap cells they have been quite good value.

If your charger has a discharge setting you can take the readings from that. Although it's hard to tell how much the cells have deteriorated because I doubt you discharged them when they were brand new!
If the cells feel softer on the track, that is as good a sign as any that they are past their best. |

My charger does not have a discharge setting. Maybe a I can borrow a protrack and use that to find the voltage drop at a given AMP discharge. Comparing this to a "good" pack I might get an idea of my cells condition.
