Default Difficulty mounting Tekin Redline motor

I am having problems installing a Tekin Redline motor into my DEX410R. I have decided where I want the motor tabs to be, but if I try installing the motor into that position the Allen screws that I have screwed slightly into the motor just won't slide far enough along the motor mount to allow me to 'mesh' the pinion and the spur. Sorry, it is a bit difficult to explain in words.

However, if I rotate the motor to a position where I wouldn't want the motor tabs I can get the gears to mesh up properly. Is there any adjustment I can make to the motor (rotating the ends?), or am I doing something wrong?

I have been building this car since mid-July now - it's starting to get ridiculous!

Somehow I have managed to sort it, so no problem now!
