gearcover on xxx

I have an old std. xxx. The plastic/lexan gearcover is now broken and I wonder if the cover to the xxx-cr will fit?

i think... that the cr cover has 3 holes for screws, but may still fit

you should still be able to buy an rpm gear cover?

The CR has a new motorplate if i remember correctly, and also a new gear cover. but you should still be able to buy the old XXX ones.

Yes, the CR has 3 holes, whereas the standard XXX only has 2 (in different positions I think) so you'll need a standard one.

found a gear cover for the xxx today ( clear lexan ) whilst rummaging through some old losi stuff at Kevs Racing bits in Guilford, they have one on the shelf there, give them a call.
