Smoother diff equals

Better steering
better/more traction

And a whole other slew of things. The diff IMO is one of the most crucial parts on a 1/10 scale car or any scale for that reason. Try one out. I can honestly say and not just cause i run for b-fast but its the smoothest diff out there hands down.

I have the option ceramic balls in mine already. Not sure if the bfast would be much of a performance gain. If I buy the truck I'll try the bfast setup and compare the diffs on the bench.

Just ordered mine to see how well it works, need to change the diff after running it in the winter, in the rain and snow, now the outdoor season is about to start here, its time it got a total overhaul, I will let everyone know how smooth it is, got to be better than the kit diff.

Just got my B-fast kit today. I had a gritty diff for the last two races. Can't wait to try those!

B-FAST R/C PERFORMANCE
Differential Break-In Procedure
1) Clean all parts and work area

2) Follow owner’s manual for assembly instructions

3) Lightly Coat Diff Balls with B-Fast Pro Diff lube, thoroughly lube Thrust Bearing with
B-Fast Pro Thrust grease. (or equivalent)

4) Snug diff screw just until gear will not turn while outdrives are held.

5) Hold one outdrive from spinning, a hex wrench that fits into the outdrive slot, clamped to your bench or in a vise works good.

6) Use a power drill or Dremel (the cone shaped cotton polishing tip works great) to spin the diff for about 20 seconds (HIGH rpm on drill, LOW on Dremel). Reverse rotation for another 20 seconds.

7) Tighten diff screw about 1/16 of a turn and repeat step 6

8) Repeat step 7 at least two more times.

Follow owner’s manual to set slipper
Slipper should slip BEFORE the diff
Do Not let the Diff Slip at anytime!!

Mine arrived last Saturday, good turnaround, less than a week, fitting it was really easy, like a normal diff, just be careful when fitting the thrust bearing, not caged bearings but uses 8 balls instead of 6, more is always better, ran the diff in as per instructions, it now feels so smooth, almost like a 12th diff! this can only do good things to the car, all it needs now is testing at Cov this Sunday, I will let you all know how it goes but all I can say at the moment its well worth upgrading the diff on any car, even more so on a 2WD car and this looks like a well worth option to go for, thumbs up from me!!

Ran the B-Fast diff at Stoke on sunday, well worth the upgrade for the money, the diff ran as expected and didnt let me down, steering increased a lot and had to be turned down, never once did i hear it slip, certainly a major improvement on the original diff!

I have to agree here! Fred at B-Fast makes a great product at not much more than a new diff set from the manufacturer. You just upgrade to it when your first (stock) diff needs changing. They are very smooth which gives great performance and long lasting if you set it up per the instructions!

Well worth it!

Hi guys, I soon need to change my diff, and I would like to know, from those who use this B-Fast diff if it works correctly during a long time, more than the stock diff, or the same ?

Thanks

I am also interrested in those diffs if they are so good as said. It is so unfortunate, that my diff isn't the best. And I have driven a race B4 with a wonderfull diff, and I cannot compare mine to it. It is another league! It turns approx. 150% better :P
