Default 2010 Indoor On-Road Senior Championship - 3rd October

British Seniors Champion 2010 Raceoff!

Where: Ardent Raceway nr Castle Donington see www.ardentracing.com/raceway for location/facilities.

When: Sunday October 3rd Doors open 09:00, racing Starts 10:00

What: All indoor on-road formulas including:
• Mardave with G2 Motor
• Mardave with Brushless and 4 cell
• Mini 2wd with Sweep tyres
• F1 Open class
• GT Open class
• 12th Pan Open class
• 10th Touring Car TrueStock 13.5/27t (none of this fancy turbo/advance timing lark, Speedos with turbo capability can be used providing those functions are turned off)
• 10th Touring Car Stock 13.5

Cost: Varies - Brace yourself this is a new concept!!
Maximum cost will be £8 per person per formula
Minimum cost could be as low as £1.50 per person

How the Dickens does that work?
• We cap our takings at £8 x 30 drivers = £240
• For any extra people/cars over 30 we divide the total number of cars/drivers by £240 and that is what you all pay.
E.g. you book in committing yourself to paying £8, you and everyone else spreads the word to other seniors and you end up getting 60 people. You all book in online, we then check the numbers that turn up on the 3rd October and confirm that we have 60 drivers. We then divide £240 by 60 and you all pay £4
Best case scenario would be 80 drivers running 2 classes (160 cars) 240 divided by 160 = £1.50 each.

Why? It’s an incentive to spread the word and to grow the interest in the senior event, so in 2011 we can stick to the original vision of its creator and run a Reedy format and get it recognised as an annual event by the BRCA.

We have to start somewhere and right now it hasn’t started at all.

Age restriction is anyone that turned/turns 40 this year or older.
Number 1 rule is Have fun Racing!!

To register your interest/Book Yourself a space ( including those who already emailed us please) go to: http://www.ardentracing.com/shop/bri...0-raceoff.html

Note: Payment will be done on the day.

Fair play on the finances. Lets hope that you get double the drivers and they all spend lots in the cafe.

When someone is willing to invest in this way it would be nice to see them get a good payout (no good deed etc....)

Not so happy I am now classed as a senior however!
