You could try the Phat Bodies Zen -
Its designed to fit the X-Factory X6 so there's a good chance it will fit the Mad Monkey. Available here - http://phatbodies.co.uk/ |

Simon.......if that shell is narrow at the front then it won't fit the Mad Monkey as it's quiet a bit wider than the b4/x6 front end

well i got annoyed at looking all over with no avail so iv bit the bullet and ordered 3 sheets of 0.75mm lexan (enough for 3 shells all going well) and i shall set about making my vacuum forming machine out of scrap bits.
i will let you all know how it goes success or not but if they go well i may be able to do the odd one or two. i will be changing the design tho adding a air vent that can be cut out allowing air flow directly onto the motor for added cooling so no heat sink needed |

I've not seen a Mad Monkey up close, but it does look a lot like the X6 from the middle backwards, which is what the Phat Bodies Zen was designed for so should a good fit around there .....

The Zen fits the RB5 MCS does it not? Which is a kyosho front end which is pretty much the same width as the x-pro, madmonkey, rat, x2c etc so I would have thought it would fit.

Hello boys and girls,
Just put my sons zen shell on my mad monkey and it fits. With the M/M shell its a tight fit over the spur gear but on the zen shell there is plenty of room. I'll try an add some pics.

Did you have to hack the front end up for it to fit the MM?

No need to hack the front of the shell, just follow the cut lines fits perfect.
Looks miles better than the m/m shell, going to order one from simon at phat bodies asap.
