Impossible to answer with the info you've given. Roll bar is just one element of a complete set-up.

For example: Are you using the saddle chassis or stick?

Yes I was a bit short on the info!
Stick pack. On most of my previous cars if the track was relatively bumpy I would not use roll bars - I wondered if this applied to the X6^2 as well
(losi shocks pink springs 25WT oil)

I pretty much use one all the time but it is only 0.9mm thick so doesn't have a massive effect, personnally any thicker and it takes too much rear end away for me.

I only tend to take it off in really slippy conditions.
