Default parts

hows is the rules for making your own stuff? ie ive got some carbon fibre i want to make into shock towers for the mad rat is this allowed?

As long as its not dangerous and will not harm other cars, also as long as its to a good standard, but no real rules. How much have you got and how thick is it?

hi ..its about 4 ml thick and ive only got enough to make a couple of pairs of towers and a battery strap .....ill make it n get some one else to check it out ...but not for a couple of weeks ..ive just brought a durango so will be building that when it arrives

yeah i cant wait to get my hands on it .....its the bottom of the range one but its still gotto be better than the mad rat

that im not sure ..im prob gonna use my 12 single ...and get some lipo's for now...but im gonna look at your sudgestions n get those over time

well if i get it built in time ..ill bring it on sunday so ppl can have a look at it ....but it wont be running yet ..so prob have to wait till following sunday for that

V nice. I wouldn't run it until you have the brushless and LIPOs etc. I'm sure the boys will advise at the weekend etc

yeah i know ..just deciding what to put in it ...i was thinking of running the brushed system ive got for a few races ..just to get used to it ,then get a brushless system in it n see what it can really do ...but ill have a chat with ppl this weekend [if we get chance] and hopefully come up with some ideas ......all will have to be brought over time tho but ill get there with it

first thing on the list is lipo's my brushed system will run on those and should make it bit quicker..[has anyone seen the acceleration on the durango? its insane],untill i can get a brushless system
