Default bmax, biggest pinion to fit with 81t spur ?

Hi, had a bmax a while back, but due to the gearing muck around back then, it was very hard to get the required gear ratio for spec class. Now with the advanced esc's, I have more scope to play with fdr's.

With a yokomo 81t spur, what is the biggest pinion I can fit on the bmax, with no nightmare dremeling?

think it's only a 19? 20 goes on but makes for a tight mesh, a dremel is your best friend

I've been using 22T with an 84T spur... So I'm sure the 81T Spur can take a bigger pinion...

19 (20 at a push) is the biggest you can run on the 87 spur (not an 81 as asked) which should be 5/6 teeth higher that this as suggested.....

thanks guys.

seems with the advice most likely a 24 will fit with a 81 giving just under 8fdr which should be right on the money with tekin 203 and 17.5
