Hi Wayne,

Sorry I didn't meet you on Sunday I think I was in the middle of putting the back end of my car together and then running the racing.. Tough day yesterday.

As for this Sunday, please keep an eye on the forum / membership email re this weekend. The generator has gone wrong and thanks to Grant yesterday we were able to carry on racing. So Julian is repairing / replacing the generator.

It'll just be me running the meeting this weekend if it's a go as Julian and Steve are away.

M

Mad Rat's are a popular beginners car, plenty of spares, and good enough to get you started.

There's an Annsman section on oOple somewhere, should have astro setups in there.

Mikey (and Steve and Julian): Nicely ran meeting yesterday, it was all too hot for me, couldn't drive for toffee!

Thanks it was too hot, but still pretty good. I normally love the heat and always look for the holidays were they deliver 30C + heat

Hi Wayne, really you will want a personal transponder.

It may be a good idea to use the handouts for a few meetings and then get your own - if you enjoy the racing that is.

It makes things easier on race day and booking into larger events.

You can get them new for about £80, or second hand for about £50.

Matt

Normally cut a small hole in the front window of the body.
You can use a body reamer to do this.
Best of doing it at the track to get the right size hole
