I am rebuilding the shocks on the B44 but having problems getting the snap clip to snap.
Also, the whities o ring keep splitting trying to get them to sit right. I dont normally have this problem with the B4 and thought the shocks were the same. Any ideas? ![]() ![]() ![]() Matt |

The B4 & B44 shocks are the same, just the B44 has longer shafts in the front.
Are the bodies clean, nothing at all where the o-rings fit? Also are you using new or old plastic parts? New parts may need to be trimmed to fit. Have a read of this: http://users.telenet.be/elvo/12/8/1.html MiCk B. :-)

Thats the guide i have been following with the B4 with no troubles.
I will check again to make sure there is nothing stuck in the bottom of the shock body - although i'm positive there is not ![]() |

Check that the shock body is clean, is it happening on all the bodies?
Try a dry fit of the just the plastic spacers, they might need to be trimmed down if they are new. MiCk B. :-)

I built Associated shocks for the first time in my life yesterday and was wondering how you can remove the whole O-ring thing for maintenance? I didn´t see anything realting that in the manual. Sorry if this questions sounds stupid...

Yep, that's right, you just need to go in from the other end at a slight angle so you press on the seal assembly and it will all pop out.
