Default Titanium Racing TIR - Anyone know them ?

Hi guys

I see a few of you lads have got TIR in your sigs. I placed and paid for an order back on April the 28th. Still listed as processing, phone number tells you that its not receiving incoming calls and emails not replied to. Nothing

Added them on msn as per their invitation on their website and some shop from malaysia cant get hold of them either according to their msn page.

Do i need to be starting another Paypal dispute or are these guys with six different email addresses for all the different departments not organised enough to return emails

Please advise.

I bought a couple of screw kits from them late last year and there were screws missing from each kit. I contacted them and received no reply, contacted them again, no reply. I finally had a reply from the MD
Darren Coe-Gunnell White on the 6th October stating:-

"Apologies for the non response. Your mail was forwarded automatically so I did not get to see it.

I will look into this immediately and advise accordingly."

I never heard anything since, even though I chased the guy twice after receiving the email.

Hi Rich

I have used them a couple of times, first order was great nice and smooth, second order total nightmare. All the bits i ordered were in stock on there website but it took about 6 weeks and lots of phone calls to finally get them. Think it was the trading standards mention that finally got my order processed.

I have sent some stuff back, because the order was wrong, haven't heard a thing, was about 3 weeks ago.
Have rang them serveral times, but no answer.
Have e-mailed them several times, but no answer.
Have rang them this week, now the phone doesn't ring...

I wouldn't order anything if I was you, the website will still let you pay for it.

Darren needs to come on here and answer a few questions and let people know what is going on.

I'm glad I read this thread - I was after some TIR drive shafts for a Schumacher Mi3.5. I don't think I'll bother now.

Cheers,
Barry

Some guy whos a new zero posts user sent me an apologetic PM and a phone number this afternoon.

My name is Jon Guest and have recently joined TIR. Part of my job is chasing back orders, one of which is yours. I can only apologise personally for the delay. Your Diff Master is on back order from Muchmore. I have yet to get confirmation when it will arrive. If you wish to speak to me ring me on ***********, best during the day as my signal at home is crap.
Again apologies.

Jon Guest

Anyway, i asked for a refund as the website still shows stock level as green even now. I got no reply to that so i have opened a Paypal dispute this evening. Let them sort it out.

I bought some screws about 7-8 years ago, still waiting. I'm not even making that up either.

I'll try and get Darren on his mobile sometime today and point him this way. I'm sponsored by TIR, and I don't get a reply to a majority of emails

I ordered a set of Hot Bodies ballstuds via phone, paid by paypal and waited 3 weeks. In that time I was fobbed off with "I thought i'd sent them", "They must be lost in the post", "We didn't send them recorded", "We've sent them out again", "I'll do it personally right now" ............ never received anything so opened up a paypal dispute and got my money back.
Don't bother parting with your hard earned, especially buying online. If they can have the bare faced cheek to lie to someone on the phone imagine how long it would take to sort out online
Stay well clear

As a supplier for the Diff Master, we can only answer this one, which was delivered on 29th April at 09:52.

Maybe just give them a call as they may not check forums - their number is on their website.

Many thanks,

Keith.

I have been refunded for my diff master pretty much straight away by Jon Guest of TiR. If any of you get pm`s from him then you can trust his word from my personal experience.

Thanks for sorting it Jon much appreciated.

Default tir

used them a while ago but found the stuff not very compatible with offroad buddies - used the pinions but they tended to damage quite easily and so i went back to the originals - driveshafts were light and about the best- had no problems with delivery or anything and the stuff is ok if you have alot of it as it is light

ive ordered from TIR in the past, what a mistake!...........the items that eventually arrived after months and months off being messed about and ignored via phone/email was off terrible quality!! the driveshafts just wore out extremely quickly and when i showed them to a steal engineer he informed me (after laughing at me) they was just made from a cheap alloy with a titanium coating, hence the mega wear rate around the pins! when i contacted TIR about this and they eventually replied...there md,darren something or other stated it was my driving and poor maintence that made the products wear out prematurely, which is a little odd as my original associated driveshafts i have run for over a year now and have never failed or worn out!
I was told to return the failing items for them to replace them....but to be honest...im not going to bother as i doubt they will ever get sent back out to me!!!
All in all,i will never buy anything from them again, and i certainly wouldnt advise anyone to use them!..the products i tried was poor quality and the service is nothing short off a joke!!
Maybe guys, just maybe we may get a reply to all these posts about there shoddy service as its on a public forum as they dont want to reply to any personal emails i send them!

ok rant over! lol

Default tit pinions

I'm suprised the titanium pinions would have word out (the lightweight ones that are drilled) as they're made of titanium, you know, the same stuff they made Robocop out of, cause it's light and doesn't get damaged very easily.

I've not had a very good relationship with TiR either, and I really don't understand why, as when they do good stuff, they really do GOOD stuff so should be highly in demand.

Please TiR, get your act in order or you'll just carry on losing customers.
