Default Access issues

I know Swansea isn't wheelchair accessible at the mo', but I can't remember how many steps there are. Can someone let me know how many steps, the entrance with the least amount of steps has. I'm looking at getting folding ramps for the car anyway, which I think are normally 6ft in length, so just need to know if this would be long enough.

thanks in advance

Hi Sarah,

From memory the entrance that I used over the grass had around 8 steps, this took you through the fire exit into the Sports Hall

Not sure if that helps? I've only been there the once

thanks Jonesy, I really don't think Swansea is somewhere I can take Sam, just too many stairs in one place, rather than being a bit more spread out. Any ramp I'm thinking of getting, might cover that distance, but would be at one hell of a steep angle.

I think you're right in relation to the angle of the steps outside but I'm not sure what the access was like coming through the main entrance, maybe that is something we can look into?

Also as posted previously I'm sure we (as the committee) can arrange help to get Sam into and out of the venues although I know your thoughts on this.

Give me a shout if there is anything I can do to he;[
