Default What material for servo mount?

Hey guys,
Making a custom servo mount for my mad force, so far i've cut it in acrylic and that didnt go too well as you could expect :P it was more to get the measurements rather than a perminant solution,

but now i do want a perminant solution, i cant afford carbon fibre, so can anyone recomend me something similar? i want it quite rigid, but not brittle, and about 2-3mm thick... Thanks in advance
