If i rotate the spurr then the it comes back from some point.
If i rotate over it then it will stay where i rotated it. Look at the diff. |

If you look closely at the out drive the small drive shaft goes into.. when the spur is turned and then released ints likeon a spring and winds back...
Have you tried doing the same with the longer prop shaft taken out? Have you tried removing the short shaft and turning the front gearboxes outdrive?? what does this do? As someone has said.. i would say something is bent.. ![]() |

looks to me like the slipper assembly is pulling it back.the pins on the driveshaft from the slipper to the crown wheel keep returning to to the vertical position.i dont have an fs but is this shaft angled down?could this be causing the problem?id try it without the shaft and just turn the crownwheel and see what happens.just my theory probably wrong but worth a try maybe

Make sure you have the spacer in the gearbox drive cup otherwise the small dogbone will slip too far forward and bind up in the cup, as it's angled gravity will keep on pulling it forward into the cup, hence the spacer. If you don't know what i'm on about then look in the manual. HTH

Yeah it's definetly the spurr assembly because if i remove both dogbones it still does the same thing.
I'll try to rebuild and then let's see what happens. But something shouldn't be bent because its brand new conversion. Thanks for the help guys. Appreciate it. EDIT: Rebuilt it. Made everything like the first time. AND IT WORKS! Thanks for making me happy ![]() |
