Micro Section Rules 2010/2011

Hope you are good and enjoying your break before the season starts again.

Here are the long awaited rules for the 2010/2011 Micro Series (see link below).

There are several reasons we have held back on the release this year but my personal reason (as Secretary) is that i have been looking into the way we distribute the rules to you the drivers.
I don't know how many of you are aware of how the 1/8th Rallycross scale distribute there rules but I was shown their A5 booklets that are posted out to all their members and I though this was exactly what are section could use. Unfortunately we may not be able to afford to do the A5 booklets our selves this year however we will have some form of booklet to distribute to you all at the Nationals so you all have your very own copy of the rules to keep with you .

**IMPORTANT**

Please note that there is a change to the 16th scale rule (rule number 2.1.2). It was brought to the Committee's attention that there were several cars that were excluded from the Nationals because of the minimum wheelbase and minimum width within the new class system for the 16th scale.

As a Committee we were concerned about this because our intentions are always to look out for the Section's best interests, so after some discussion about the matter it was voted unanimously to invoke force majeure and sort the issue before it became an issue at the Nationals.

Also an update from the EGM, we (the Committee) are in the process of purchasing the new stickers for the Nationals so no more of those big old nasty stickers

Hi Urs, can I suggest that when the rules are ready to be printed, that they be emailed out as a pdf to all the people who attended a national last year, and anyone who requests one.
