there are a couple of threads on it already. search for code and core and you should get them.

for the money its ace, but a few people seem to have intermittent reception issues

I have one using it in a B44 and a Cougar, works fine no problems as yet.

yes, they seem pretty good for the money. The few people that have issues thankfully seem to be an isolated few, as you would probably get with most radio sets.
