Well after reading on here a lot of the comments about the Mad Rat I thought I would build one of these.
I got the kit version, change the 8 matching bronze bush bearings for races, the 2 that hole the diff and inside the diff are still standard. I have a Clash 15 motor in it, with an LRP Esc and 4200NiMh and HiTec 311 servo. Racing this little beast at the Plymouth RC track is fun as the surface is partly grass partly hard clay. In the Sunday Class any 1/10th runs, 2wd, 4wd, electric or nitro. This Sunday the result was....... won the 3 qualifers and won the 15 minute finals without a battery change. All I can say is I love thsi car, can be a handful racing against 4wds but still fast and fun.

Thanks for the great words...... i have spent a lot of time reading up about all the upgrades recommended and if the car is this good with just a few (not all the ball races), I wonder how good I can the car with the metal shocks, weight movement and possibly a faster motor
