Question Screw in pivot ball (ball stud)

I'm looking for a round pivot ball that I can screw in from the opposite side of the hub and use a regular Schumacher/AE sized ball end on the ball. Can anyone suggest something that would do the job?

A regular ball stud isn't any good as the nut on the bottom fouls on the wishbone and costs me steering when on power. I do have some non threaded xray pivot balls to try but I don't think they will allow enough movement vertically on the ball.

I've had a look at a couple of online retailers for inspiration and the type-a durango pivot balls are as close as I can find to what I'm looking for but I don't want to have to buy a full set of plastic ball ends and pivot balls for just two rod ends.
