Default Ait hole size in wheels

Hi,

When I check the setup sheets there is a mention of a air hole size in the wheels. Could someone explain what different (small vs large) hole does ?

Thanks

Small hole: air travels slowly in and out of tire.

Big hole: vice versa and better. I always drill a 5mm hole in my rims. The original ones (if there at all) are way too small.

If you race on dirt, grass or in the rain, plug up the hole or something and punch a hole in the tire instead. The centrifugal forces will allow dirt and water back out again.
