Default Dynamite wheel balancer

Just got one of these, but having tried it there's too much friction on the shaft well, in the supplied bearings) so the wheel doesn't spin freely enough to know if its balanced. Is this normal and just needs bedding in/some oil putting in the bearing somehow, or does it mean I've got a dud?

Sounds like you've got a dud. Should roll super freely, and shouldn't require any work from new to make it do that..... send it back for replacement.

Ive got the Ultimate one (distributed by Schumacher), and it rolls damn freely.

Any chance you could bring yours Sunday for me to borrow? I have my own clay!

I'll try and send back mine then!
