Default Sintered Rotor chipped ?

My favorite LRP X11 motor stopped working at the last race meeting, cause... the rotor had chipped slightly at the top, about the size of a nail clipping. The piece had gotton lodged and stopped it working.

Now i've removed the broken piece, will it run ok with a chipped rotor ?
Can I simply file it down all around so it's evenly balanced ?

Cheers.
Andy.

i wouldn't recomend trying to balance it manually by eye. At the RPM these motors do it will still vibrate pretty bad and possibly do further damage
