My car has solder melted into the rear triangles, 1 on the left side at the rearmost and 2 on the right side rearmost and with a 5000 lipo and a brass bulkhead weighs in at 1525 and has 65/35 weight split. (fill the triangles to the top, but not so high that it sits proud).

HTH Simon.

The only weight i run in my car is the Ghea 35g brass bulkhead...

I find the car suits me this way.

BUT... if you have big jumps like we did at the Talywain National i tried 60g of lead under the lipo (approx half the size of where the battery sits..) in my final.. adjusted my ride height and found the car flew much better.. rather than having to think about the approach and my speed i felt i could just " drive " the jump.. im going to experiment with more on " jumpy " tracks!

It didnt really seem to upset the car anywhere else on the track.. the only thing was it maybe didnt change direction quite as quick..

Cheers

Nick

Well, let's see...

14g in the bulkhead
14g under the steering rack
14g in the wings next to the servo
14g in the rear wings
14g in the foam block behind the battery

Total weight...1505. Yes, I run a super light lipo(Thunder Power 3200mah 40C).
