Which tyres for a Cougar SV on tarmac

I have just bought a Cougar SV (my first 2WD) and was wondering what front tyres to use on tarmac? I have a set of staggered ribs, minipin and mini spike but dont want to razz through them all just bashing around.

Any help much appreciated!
