Default Triple velvet instructions

Please Ignore this post.

Found the instructions and I was building them upside down! Like stock parts.....

Hi

Got a set of triple velvet shocks for my zx5, put them on last year sometime, but doing a rebuild and cannot for the life of me remember how to do it.

Basically I have taken the top off, removed the oil, refilled them and am about to put them back together. Looking at the manual (RTR) there should be a diaphragm, that sits on the oil before fitting the top holder of the shock. Mine don't seem to have this! Is this part of the velvet shocks? Obviously didn';t have them when originally built, so should I worry about it now?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

silly question, but they aren;t stuck in the shock tops are they? they usually are when you take shocks apart.
Not sure if they have diaphrams as i had the previous version shocks. It may be they have an O ring around the bottom of the threads on the shock body, or again possibly in the shock cap.
