Default Proracing Evo IV RB

Does anyone know if they ever made any or whether it was more of a personal project?

I 'think' it was a stop gap project until the 501X was available - so the guys are running the 501X now instead. Not sure if they are still doing anything with this shaft project, cool if they are, but the guys are Tamiya bods and the 501X is hard to beat!

Hopefully gonna use the concept to try and do the same to my TB Evolution III, without having to hack the chassis away.

Where and when? I've only seen them run the 501 recently.

The car is still getting developed as we speak. I ran it a couple of times on Sunday at batley and was posting times as quick as my 501. Should be able to see the car running around the track in the regionals.

Cool, didn't realise you were still on with this - any new developments? Will you be running it along side the 501X until it's working well enough that you can drop the 501x?

New developments are new suspension parts and some added steering which was the biggest problem. The car has some advantages over the 501X with it being shaft drive, but the two cars are completely different to drive.
I only ran mine on sunday shaun to see how the new parts held up.

Not sure why it's based on the Evo IV & not the V, has it been in development that long? Will it make it to production and if so when, I've steered clear of the 501X as I prefer shaft drive.
Ran a Predator XRS, now on a Cyclone D4 whilst waiting for the Aero A One but it would be nice to have a Tamiya off roader to go with our TB Evo 5 touring cars.
