Looking to run a class of 1/18th electric cars as well, we've been told that they will cope fine with the jumps

Any chance of starting earlier and perhaps another round of heats/finals as it's a bank holiday?

Would 4 rounds of qualifying and 1 final be better?

New addition to the track:

Assembled another 20m of track marker over the last week. Track is getting bigger.

I can't make tonight but I would be well up for coming along on a Friday night with my 1/18 and 1/10 buggies! The 1/18 buggies will be great on those tracks and the little buggers can jump like you won't believe!

How often do you guys run? When is the next meet?

Great fun last night, personal highlight was landing an SC10 from 6 feet on top of Tommy Chung's B3!!! LOL!

Any results anywhere?

Ordered a rear arm to give you back Chris, cheers for that.

Excellent fun, great track, look forward to the next one
........... highlight for me had to be the 511 being awesome in practice before I broke it
Downside was (apart from breaking the 511) breaking the CR2 four times even though it was fantastic to drive
Now don't let anyone be fooled into thinking that these breakages were anything to do with the track, it wasn't, i've never had such strange things happen in one night. E clips flying off, pivot pins coming out, body posts breaking ........... the list goes on
Then after the racing, the sat nav decides to pack up and we can't find our way home
Eventually we find the right road and begin to head towards Aylesbury. On one of the crappy roads we hit a pot hole and just outside Amersham the car begins to pull to the left ........... puncture
After unloading all the racing stuff from the boot (it was raining) I discovered that the spare wheel is minus the tool needed to remove the cover from the alloy, so although we have a spare wheel, jack, wheelbrace, locking wheelnut tool ......... we still can't remove the wheel. So it all goes back into the boot and the RAC is called. 45 minutes the girl says and I explain that all we need is a man with a van and some tools to remove the said part. 45 minutes later and a missed call on my mobile says that they'll be another 40 minutes
RAC man arrives with full-on breakdown truck, takes a look at the wheel and declares that he has no tools and that he'll recover me to home
After dragging the car onto the truck I get a call from the RAC telling me that they will only recover me 10 miles (I live 33 miles away) as the problem was "self enduced" .............. Lew lives in Aylesbury so I ask to be recovered to his house, the girl explains to me that Lew's house is 13.8 miles and that they can still only recover me 10 miles. After explaining that the whole lot will be cancelled the next day I agree with the recovery bloke to pay for the extra 3.8 miles ........... and then part with £10.58
At Lew's place I stand there in a t-shirt freezing while Lew lays on the ground in the wet and gets the wheel off, puts the spare on and waves me on my way. I get home at 2.30pm
Thanks to everyone at the racing, it was ace
Thanks to Postman Lew, i'd have been bored on my own and I hate changing wheels
Thanks to the recovery bloke, you were useless because you had no tools
Thanks to the RAC, i'm £10.58 out of pocket and i'm now joining the AA
Get yourselves along to Taplow when it's on next, it's excellent for 1/10th offroad and anyone with a micro will love it too. .......... but be warned of the surrounding pot hole infested crappy roads
