Default Cougar SV Top Deck

Looking at photo's of the Cougar with a Lipo fitted, it appears there is what looks like a 5mm gap between the top plate and the Lipo underneath.
How are the team currently securely holding the Lipo?
I presume this gap (apart from allowing different height lipo's) along with the four battery posts allows various rates of flex depending on how many body clips are used.
Or have i been running Xray touring cars for too long

I didn't see the pads on that picture.
I was looking at the stick pack photo, on the middle row, second from the left.
I presume pads will be used in a similar way.

What battery style is being used currently?

Think it is perfect the gap is there. If I want to ad weight it is a awesome place to put a brass plate.

Do we know what stick packs they will take on the chassis.

I know some guys struggled with the CAT in the past but wonder if the Cougar will have the same problems?

Nosram or Speed Passion fit with no probs.

If there is a gap then the new 5900 50C nosrams should also fit as they are slightly bigger than the 5300 40C

Cool as that's what I'm using.

SteveB has the new 5900s and I think is hoping they'll fit.

Another week according to Model Sport.

I was going to order some springs tonight, but they've gone back out of stock

Cat SX due Wednesday this week according to Model Sport, so Schumacher are either raiding stock for these kits or doing very well on sales. I hope it is the 2nd situation
