Default Work Party

Right as some of you members know we need to sort a few things out at the club.

1) Sorting the parking out

2) Clearing of bushes etc. at the end of the straight

There are other things that need doing, but I'm wanting a potential show of hands for a Saturday(s) in March.

Can people indicate the dates they'd rather do etc.

We are also after scalpings / hardcore, so would be open to recommendations / donations.

March 13/20/27?

The aim of this is to get better parking during the wetter months and also to get things better for an all day meeting.

Possibly count me in

I can get hold of some weed killer and a couple of 20ltr drums and bring some water to mix it with. Though I dont have a watering can

Maybe we can lay those slabs I donated too, if they haven't been already.

See you all soon

This is looking good.

I will speak with Julian and Steve too, although I expect Steve will be working. Need to agree a common action plan.

Key areas are:

1) Parking
2) Timing loop into tubing and laid
3) End of straight maintenance
4) Clear race hut

Please also sugguest other "sensible" ideas.

Default Work Party Saturday 20th March

Is this still on?
I would like to know if it is, because the wife will need to be notified in advance (whole weekend at TORCH isn't as easy to swing as sunday mornings)
Plus i'm really keen to do it.

Default tabletop

Well we should have more time to spend on extending the straight and making the new section of track............

The tabletop has been built !

It took three of us about two hours to build, its not a silly height or anything

It was tested by two 4wd and two 2wd cars for about an hour afterwards and we were all happy with it.

it adds a much needed something extra/different to the track.

It is where it I proposed it to be with Julian, it is after the twisty section on what could be called the short back straight.

It can be moved but to be honest it is in the best place on the track

Not too high, about two foot high, overall about three metres in length
