Default 501 and 511 upgrades

Guys,

Has anyone tried fitting the DB01 aluminum one-way pulley (18t) onto their 501 or 511 yet?

I've ran the one way pulley for a few weeks now in my 501x WE. I quite like it, there is a certain amount of adjustability with it too as the pully is held on by two fiber washers so you got about 1/2 turn adjustment between locked 4wd and the center one way totally free.

It's a great upgrade to fit as you can just lock it and forget about it if you dont like the center one way. I find I like to adjust it to the track depending on much heavy braking there is.

I wanna get myself a one way at some point too as I've never driven the 501x with one before.

Cool, thanks. Ive ordered it and will use it.

Also has the UJ design been changed slightly or are the 511 versions the same as the 501x? I drilled a flat spot onto my UJ pins so that when I built them the allen key screw locked in and due to that I never lost a pin.

The 501 & 511 UJs are different. The joint is reversed and the pin size has changed. I know that a complete rear 511 UJ will fit on a 501 but I think there are clearance issues if you try to fit the front UJs from a 511 on a 501.

OK cheers, just when I had the 501x I Had issues with the pin coming out hence why I drilled a flat spot on the pin so the allen key locked in.
