I going to be ordering a B44 within the next couple of weeks and just wondered if there were any hop ups worth buying at the same time and fitting while building the kit? I will be getting the Lipo Trays and Straps (not sure if i should go for the brass or carbon ones yet) and some of Northy's Whities O-Rings.
Are the Factory Team Alloy Shock Tops & Tower Mounts worth having? Are the kit screws OK or worth up-grading? Anything else worth changing from the off? Also does anyone know of any good deals on B44 Kits? Cheapest i have found is £229.99 with free P&P Thanks in advance ![]() |

Thanks Big G just thought i would see what parts are known to fail and if it would be worth building the car with up-graded parts already fitted. So the front shock tower mount and shock caps will go on the to buy list

Either buy loads of spare shock shafts or as I've been advised, get the non gold B4 ones as apparantley these bend rather than snap! Do u keep hold of springs and cups etc...
My standard shock towers been fine, alloy shock caps cosmetic although bleeder ones seem good for money, I've carbon lipo tray but if had choice u'd have brass or stainless for low centre of gravity. I'll revise the above tomorrow once I've smashed it up tomorrow at west bridgeford! |

Ive even fractured 3 atomic carbon mounts in the last 12 months too, but instead of snapping and you having to pull out of a race you can keep going ! If you had AE ones they would snap and game over! Also rude bits battery trays and straps Gaz
