Default pinion spur on xx

hi guys im getting my xx running again was wondering if any 1 has any ideas on what pinion & spur to run il be using an ezrun 5.5t 6000kv motor

Craig, with that kind of motor mate I dont think it will matter, it will be in pieces inside two minutes.....

A 5.5 in a "current" 2wd is insane, in an older model even worse, and that is before you even stop to consider the small size track you will run on, you want somthing more like an 8.5 to be honest.

Darren speaks the truth there!
I remember the look on his face when i said i would run a 4.5 at parmitters...
I did and it ran hot, near impossible to gear correctly and makes controlling the car very very difficult.
Think about a 10.5 may be more practicle. Back when i still had chance to run up there i would make the top 10 quite regulary in touring cars with a 19T motor and cheap cells. Same rings true in buggy.
