Hello,
I'm currently sorting out tyres for the BRCA mid south 2wd dates and I've come across some 4wd New Schumacher min pins (yellow). My question is should I use these for racing on carpet at the DMS date in May? Or should I buy some new slim 2wd mini pins for this meeting? With the 4wd mini pins on the car, the cars width is exactly 250mm wide, when set on the level and obviously shorter when the suspension is compressed. The XXXCR does normally push from the rear, so perhaps these tyres might be ok? ![]() |

I may be wrong but wouldn't a regional normally mean your running either schumacher mini spikes or Ballistic buggy tyres?
If you are using mini pins i would go for the 2wd ones, to fit them to the standard losi wheels turn them inside out and cut off some of the bead so they fit nicely. |

@ Rob - the two regional rounds at our DMS Club are held indoors on our carpet and slippery floor track
![]() @JBL - the 2wd slim mini pins stretched over normal CR wheels will be just fine in there and WAY better than the 4wd ones (Darren Bloomfield TQ'd and won our 2wd regional there last year with his XXXCR)
