Having watched every grand prix bar 1 live since 1994 I hope this one is worth my getting up for. Love the bbc trio watching grass grow and paint dry piss-take.

Without naming winner in case you havent seen race yet, that was an excellent race. Plenty of incidents loads of overtaking, and there,s going to be a few dummies spat out. all in all well worth getting up for. Hope this standard continues.

Great race.....im betting Lewis will need a hankerchief to dry his eyes, wonder how long itll take now for "trouble" to start at Mc'laren.....Jenson my old china.....dont drink anything this guy hands you from here on.

Seriously...how cool was the tyre choice....i was feeding my daughter at the wee hours and saw him dive in and went whaaa....TBH i thought he'd spooned the car in the Alonso tussle.

Just showed the different driving styles between Lewis and Jenson, Jenson managed 50 or so laps on one set, Lewis used two sets and mullered both..... Jenson was super smooth

in defence of lewis running in traffic with reduced downforce will muller tyres quicker than being in clean air , and jenson spent a lot of the race in just that.

Who said the tyres were mullered? I know Hamilton said the tyres were gone when he was behind alonso again, but that wasn't tyres, that was just no downforce! Otherthen that he was as quick as if not quicker than button on the tyres before he got them changed.

Gutted for Hamilton and somebody will be getting a big ticking off tonight.

Great race, Hamilton showed how he is the best Racer in F1 with some fantastic racing. Jenson was also able to shine with one of his smooth races. Shame the team messed up with the extra tyre stop for Hamilton as it would have been a 1/2 although I dont think Hamilton would have taken Jenson today.

i was watching the replay of the webber/hamilton crash , take a look at the sparks coming from the front left wheel , wonder if he had brake failure or at least partial brake failure, Vettel was complaining of sparks from his front just before he binned it?

I wish all the F1 races were at melboure!

Just hope the next asian 'car park' circuit doesn't spoile it again.

I think all race circuits should have sprinkler systems. And the race director should just turn the water on at random times, just to add excitement!

I still think it's funny that we have a team in F1 now called "HRT".. i'm sorry but branding an F1 team with the same abreviations as something related to treating the menopause just seems wrong.
