Racing at 2 meeting in the last 3 weeks and 3 throttle servos have failed me i have been changing batteries after 4 rounds so would have a full battery for final and for the second time after or during the 4th round the servo has failed it is always with the same batter, i have noticed that the battery has damage to it from the screw that holds the batt tray in to the chassis could this cause it to spike or something like that and amage the servo any ideas please.

If it's a Losi 8 MK1 your running they were prone to blowing servo's if incorrectly setup on throttle linkage I believe and or the servo was resting on the chassis. Check your not straining the throttle servo on full travel/braking

Or if it is a Losi 1.0 buy a Losi 2.0 radio tray as this puts less stress on the Throttle servo.

king headz radio tray stiffener helps a lot, but as the others have said the end points on the tb servo need to be perfect or you WILL kill the servo. I also had this problem on a losi 1

I will check the travel on the brake side as i always ensue that the throttle movement only just pulls the the piston in the carb to the end of the carb air filter hole (so you can just see the piston in the hole) and that there is o movement in the tray i will do these checks too make sure thanks for all of your input.
