Default B44 gearing

What gearing should i use for a 5.5 in a b44. i want it geared down if anything as i dont want it ballistic quick

It really depends on the track that you are going to race but I think a good starting point would be a 19 tooth pinion with the stock 84 spur...this is a really goog overall combination to my experience

There won't be a pinion that will slow a 5.5 motor down.
It will just be fast
I use a 18 pinion on a 5.5 LRP X12 and I find it crazy fast.
As the last person said, it also depends on the track. 18-19 is fine more or less everywhere

According to the previous posts would it be ok to have a 24 pinion on a 84 Spur in the b44 with a Speed Passion 7.5t motor? I race on a small dirt track. Any help would be appreciated.
