Default LRP SXX TC timing on motor

Ive just installed my new LRP SXX TC.
From what I understand, this speedo varies the timing relative to the speed of the motor.
As the speedo is doing this, does this mean I should run the motor with zero manual timing?
I am running a Tekin Redline with 12 degrees of manual timing as set at the factory.
Thanks for any advice.

it depends on how it takes into consideration the timing on the motor. With the Tekin, if run in sensored only mode, you have to calculate the amount of static (motor) and dynamic (ESC) timing you use. I prefer to run 0' on the motor if there is plenty of grip, then I will use the ESC to dynamically advance the timing, but only on motors up to about 8.5 turn, after that, you get some serious heat in the motor. Also, running in Sensored will take more juice out of your batteries.

As for the SXX settings, I can only guess that it works in a similar way.
