Don't bother with that stuff mate. The plastic shock towers are designed to flex and 'give' a little during a crash. Aluminum may look nice but is adding unnecessary weight high up on the car and will only end up bending or breaking your top plate when the inevitable crash happens. If you want to buy ali parts for your B4, get the front wishbone brace but you wont really need it anywhere else.

whatever material you have on the car it will always eventually break sadly, in the event of a crash of course.

i got few nice alloy parts on a hyper 7 few years ago and found it out.

but if you add something thats alloy it will break the surrounding plastic parts, because the plastics are designed to flex to avoid breaking, but if there is a big piece of alloy bolted on it will stiffen it all up making it easier to snap the plastic.

i would invest in some spare parts instead

The front wishbone brace is all you really 'need', but apart from that just run it and enjoy!
The threaded shocks from the FT are only a nice to have, the RTR shocks are internally identical so work just as well.

As has been said, alloy parts either break the surrounding plastic in a crash, or they can bend out of shape leading to strange handling!

Something like this
http://www.wheelspinmodels.co.uk/car...ge-pins__60da/

(special order only from wheelspin, I cannot work the DMS search page {sorryDarren} but I would give him a call, posts as DMS Racing on here)

AS9665-FT is the part number (FT = factory team) the hinge pin may be longer than your existing

The Rymart brass part Ghea 2058 can be found on this page

http://www.rymartracing.co.uk/page_1227178049729.html

you may need to add longer hinge pins for this to work/fit, I don't know, ask em
