My CAT 98 is currently on Ebay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...ME:L:LCA:UK:31

A lot of it is new, or as new condition.

Schumacher CAT 2000 98 high spec Staggering amount of car for your money.

This Schumacher CAT 2000 98 is one of the highest spec cars I have seen. Well over £800 worth of car and spares.

The kit itself cost £250 ish

Upgrade parts:

Alloy rear transmission housing £80
Alloy front transmission housing £40
Carbon fibre upper chassis £25
Blade driveshafts £50
Lightweight diff outdrives £50
Ackerman steering modification £10
Alloy rear pivot blocks (inboard toe in) £15
Alloy rear pivot braces £12
Carbon rear wing mount / camber brace £15
Carbon rear shock tower £8
Carbon front shock tower £8
Carbon fron A piece £8
Ball raced steering £8
Titanium turnbuckles £25
Oneway, lockable roller bearing layshaft £25
Newly serviced slipper assembly £5
Brand new wheels £10

Spare car almost built, missing driveshafts and some other items, worth about £100 in new spares

Other spares, must be worth around £100

Spare wheels and many more spares not mentioned etc included.

Plus more bits, see picture, well over £800 worth of car and spares!!!

Includes new, not even cut out offroad wing.

Spare car has layshaft, belts, diffs, new wishbones, new pivot blocks etc etc.

I am selling this as I have too many CAT 2000's and CAT 2000 parts, and this is exactly the same spec as my race car. It has the side saddle chassis, which improves the handling, balance, and the neatness of the car (the speedo is now next to the motor).

This is one of the most durable cars when out on the track, and can be driven aggresively without fear of breaking it, unlike some of the more fragile cars these days, which is why I prefer it. It also handles UK tracks well, having been designed in the UK, as opposed to the clay based american or japanese manufacturers.

Spares etc still available from Schumacher.

My race car, exactly the same spec, went very well using a Novak 4.5 GTB brushless system (not included), and handled well compared to the current competition. I managed scores in round of around 17th in the North East regionals (considered to be very high standard regionals) with this car, which shows just how competitive it remains, ahead of many BJ4s, XX4s, Predators, X-5s, Tamiya 501s, XXX4s, Hotbodies D4s, etc etc..

Pictures are on ebay:

I do have a rather unique cat that I have been looking to sell for a while!

the chassis is the one that Drescher won the euros with, the alloy motor mount has been lightened and the also the top chassis brace, it has some spares with it.

If your interested I will get some pictures sorted.
