Default LRP TC Speedo

All

I have just fitted the new TC Speedo in my XX4, and I notice that the body doesn't sit down enough due to the fan on the heatsink... Has anyone else found this? Any suggestions?

Thanks

I dont know much about XX but would it be possible to take the 4 screws out of the fan and stick it somewhere along the side below the level of the body. You would still get most of the cooling if you can get mounted so it blows along the fins and it should let the body lower.

The area around the speedo is too small, which is a shame????

loosen the screws on the fan and push it back as far as it will go it should be fine then.

I you go to the mid west section on here and look at the kidderminster 4wd thread you will see a picture of my xx4 with a sphere tc speedo fitted. It is close when the shell is on.

Cheers.... I see you have ground down the edges of the fan? Or is it my eyes deceiving me?

Just put something (bit of plastic or whatever) on top of the 2 outside fanscrews, so when body is mounted it pushes on plastic and not on the screws. I have done this, and have no problem with it.

Cheers.
