gearing for a 6.5 and 5.5

hi just wondered what pinion i should us for both of these motors in a xxx i used a 21 but seemed to lack pace a bit
also its got a purple spur on it any one know how many teeth that is i think its a 81 but you guys know best cheers

Purple is 84t Kev...

Ive got a 78t on mine with a 25t pinion, thats on a 6.5

Should of been plenty fast enough for indoors in all honesty

Just go up a tooth or two for next week? Or, reset the speedo/change profile to make it quicker?

yeh it was plenty quick enough for indoors
but i tested it on the bench and i could tell not as much power in it i thought my lipos could have give up the ghost but put them in my b4 and a lot quicker ill have to check speedo set up but pretty sure its set up for full attack as it was in the truck
and ill try a tooth up pinion wise jusut a quick question who stocks the spur gears mate could find them on the bay

DMS will most likely have them? Failing that MK racing might if you phone him up, he's going to be stock the CR2 so im guessing he'll get losi bits in
