I've run my LPF with a 5.5 outdoors with not even a hint of an issue, motor and speedo both no warmer than they would have been with the Nosram Matrix Evo I had in there before!

Hi Carl, the LPF should be fine but if you can stretch to the PRO then do it as it's always better to go for overkill rather than on the limit. The PRO isn't that much more expensive and is well worth the extra cash (and it's cheaper than other comparable speedo's)

ok well the plan was run the lpf in the 4wd for a coupple of months then put the lpf in the 2wd and put a pro in the 4wd or maybe a mamba max pro in the 4wd

Carl that is exactly what I did.

The LPF was fine in the 4WD but I wanted to get another Speed Passion speedo and it made sense to get the Pro for the ZX5-FS and put the LPF into the RB5.

Neither speedo has given me any trouble (other than of my own making when I flashed the firmwear badly on the PRO ... ooopppsss).

Speed Pasion V3.0 motors are the dogs danglies too

I ran the 5.5 for months without any problems. now running a 7.5 purely cos the 5.5 is a bit too lively on polished floor
