Default Which B max kit comes with the Big Bores?

A friend of mine who came to the Petit wants to get into some 10th racing (coming over from 5th scale) and quite likes the look of the Durango or B max.

I am having a look on the net for him to get some prices, regarding the B-Max is there a kit that comes with the big bores in the kit or do you have to buy the 09 version and buy the big bores on there own?

I have found this so far:
http://www.rc-mushroom.com/product_i...ducts_id=19765

If any one has a link on where to get the big bores that would be great.

Yes... the Yokomo BMAX factory team edition.

http://www.teamyokomo.com/jpn/ go there, click product on the left, scroll down to bmax4 factory edition. BMAX4F is the part no.

I must confess, I don't know if these kits are available in the UK yet...

Cheers for that Tom, is the only difference from the Factory Team and this 09 car the bigbores?

If possible he wants to order through uk shop but if not may have to be HK to get the Factory Team version

Mark, there are a few other small differences...

The factory team kit does not come with:
- Lightweight diff halves
- front Hex wheel adaptor (for using AE and Losi front wheels)
- Hardened diff balls
- 81T Spur gear (it comes with the 81T spur, which is high as far as I am concerned...)

Other than that, they are the same (from what I know).

The only thing I consider an absolute must is the front Hex adaptors, which are cheap and easily ordered when you buy the kit (maybe 3 pounds or something).

I bought my factory team kit here and received wonderful service! They are a bit more expensive, but they don't charge paypall fees so in the end it comes out almost the same!!! Plus shipping is super fast. If they don't have it in stock, they can get it within a few days (if Yokomo has them in stock).

cml cant diliver the factory kit.
they only have the 09 kit and the champions pack kit availeble.
the same as graupner .
you can only order that kit in the USA or japan as far as I now.
I have the 09 kit and placed the bigbores on it and am verry happy with the car.

That's the Japan Nationals 09 kit! NOT the factory team kit with the Bigbores.

Just to calrify I don,t think the Factory team, or other Yokomo buggies are available in the US anymore. Yokomo USA closed down... No more distributor. Best bet is ordering from Japan...

They're not Pulling out of the US... YokomoUSA, which was the distributor (and a totally different company) is simply closing (or not carying Yokomo anymore). I'm sure Yokomo would love to have a new distributor there, and I've read of a few attempts from shops trying to get distributor rights. But it's not happening.

Personally, all it changed for me was that I needed to order a small amount of spares. I didn't order too much as I don't get to race that often and ordering parts in between races won't be a problem. Although I got my order from Japan in 7 days which is fast!!!! That's faster than packages I get from the US!!

Anyways, it is a bit more trouble than buying your parts trackside...

Yup, they are gone, been for close to a year now, sucks. Someone tried to be a dealer just for the B-Max but that didn't go. Just have to order parts from Japan now.

Over here, it's less expensive than a Cat! But they are way overpriced here so...

If you're on a budget, why don't you give the Stock B-max4 kit a try? Then you can upgrade at a later time the things you'd like... Only thing I'd upgrade right away is a rear sway bar kit. The rest can be run stock... Then you'll maybe want to upgrade shocks and motor mount. But it would certainly be less expensive that way...

Just food for thought...
